WHM and cPanel make hosting look simple, until an update breaks something, a disk fills up, backups turn out never to have run, or one hacked account starts sending spam from the whole server. Running a server well is daily detail.

We run our own WHM/cPanel server for this website, so the advice comes from daily practice.
